Making complex systems usable through UX strategy and design

I’m a hands-on Principal Product Designer who leads with strategy, collaboration, and empathy. I’ve spent my career shaping tools and platforms that serve real users, from developers and analysts to internal business teams and external clients.

I’ve led UX across developer IDEs, AI-augmented dashboards, internal portals, enterprise web apps, and customer-facing journeys. My process is built around working closely with the triad of product, engineering, and technology partners, while continuously engaging users to make sure every design decision supports actual workflows, not just imagined ones.

Whether I’m mapping journeys, designing solutions, running research, validating early concepts, or guiding adoption, I believe great UX comes from strong relationships and a clear understanding of context. I’ve introduced UX practices into engineering-led organizations, helped scale platforms from the ground up, and built trust with stakeholders at every level.

I’ve built and led UX teams at scale, from managing content and design at Wells Fargo to building a 1.1 million dollar UX group at Anywhere Real Estate. Along the way, I’ve led IA and strategy teams at Ogilvy, managed design at Prudential, and run a full UX practice at Enspirix. I’ve helped junior designers grow into confident cross-functional partners, and I focus on trust, clarity, and creating space for designers to do their best work.

Today, I’m looking for meaningful work where design is valued. I want to help teams ship smarter, more usable features by following a thoughtful, real-world UX process. If that sounds like your team, let’s talk.
